Sale Time is Nearly Here......
As Sandra says in the post below she is putting the finishing touches to the shop sale that starts tomorrow. She's asked me to give you a sneeky peek of something I have made using some of the fabulous products in the shop. Here is a card to get started with, I've also been busy with some scrapbook layouts which I'll reveal whilst the sale is on. The patterned paper is from Sassafras Lass and the stamps is one of the lovely images from Belles 'n Whistles, coloured with Promarkers.

First Kit Layout
I wanted to share this lovely layout with you all, that was created by Jo, a very talented scrapper, whose blog "Captured on Film" always makes great reading.
Isn't the simplicity of this layout striking? It does help she's an amazing photographer, so a good picture makes any paper look good.
The Indie Girl, Sassafras papers are just so scrummy, and being double sided, you're spoilt for choice, and although the kit has sold out, you can still get hold of the papers on the site

All Sold Out
Goodness, our August kit sold out so quickly - and if you were unlucky and didn't manage to get hold of the gorgeous kit, don't worry the gorgeous papers from Sassafras’s Indie Girl range are available to buy separately.
The fact that the papers are double sided, makes choosing a side to use so much harder – still, I managed, with this “before” layout of our new kitchen.

It's almost over
My goodness where did September go? I can't believe that we're almost at the end of the sale as well. It's been quite a month I must say, firstly the sale has been amazing - it's reminded me of some of the yummy products that the shop has, but on an even more fun note ... lots of new stock has been arriving, I'm loving the Eskimo Kisses, if not just for the name - but it's the Amber Road that I've really got a soft spot for.
Talking of soft spots - a note to myself, my iphone doesn't like hard landings! Not so long ago, I dropped it, and it was one of those, "I don't want to look" moments. True enough the screen had cracked and an expensive trip to the apple store was called for. It's now almost wrapped in a duvet! Still, it was something that had to be scrapped, and the Sassafras papers were just right for the layout - and of course for me, no layout is complete without blooms.
Maybe this is a layout I won't need to hide in the draw like I did a broken phone :)
