Just arrived

I was busy uploading yesterday afternoon the gorgeous new Cosmo Cricket Delovely range. . I have to say it's a bit different for Cosmo Cricket, as in it's brighter, a bit more funky ... but I have to say, I'm thinking its a winner for them.

All gone!

My goodness, I really couldn't believe it that May's kit sold out so fast - I have to say though, I think the papers are just gorgeous.

Emma was the guest designer with this months kit... actually, to be honest I never asked her, I just picked her up one morning for coffee and gave her the papers! LOL. Anyway, you'll agree, she just did the most amazing layout - and in true Emma style, used most of the papers LOL.

Sneaky Peek Time

It's that time again for sneaky peeks ... our monthly kit goes on sale tomorrow, Monday 10th May - and is I have to say, just fabulous. Oh course, as always it's just got the most wonderful papers and bazzill ... but it's going to be one of those kits that you could just pick up and grab when off to a crop or sitting down to have some creative you time and you'll just know you're going to create some amazing projects with it.

Yup, they've arrived ... all 146 glorious colours. Plus ... I know, PLUS..... the most fabulous collection packs. So if you want to start out, try a rubber stamping pack 1 or 2 - and then build on your favourite colour. Trust me, these pens are just so addictive.

I did a layout with them of the shop blog header, and I love the fact that they're double sided papers ... only problem is, which side to choose!!!

On Sale Now

The monthly kit is now available, and it was a real joy putting it together. As this month I tried something a little bit different, as in the fact that 3 papers were from one collection, and 3 from another. Clare had a one set to work on, and I did the other - and you'll agree with me, Clare just did the most amazing work ... here is one of her layouts, ohhh and beautiful really is the right title for it.

Sneaky Peek

Here it is the sneaky peek at April's kit ... oohhh it's yummy, if I do say so myself. This month it's got something a little different, as in it's got papers from two different collections.

Clare has been working with some of the kit, and I'll show you her amazing creations tomorrow.

Something New

I'm feeling slight giddy today! no not in a bad way - just excited that the new embellishment kit has gone on sale, and I have to say I'm really really pleased with it. You know what it's like, you have an idea in your head - but when you actually see it ... it's so much better. Well, ok, I'm sure I'm probably biased, but I do think it's a good kit. It's got a little bit of everything - and that's why I've called it a "Dabble" kit.

Now I just have to sit back and wait to see what people do with them :) ..ooohh can't wait. Let me know what you think of it :)

Onslow Crop

I'd like that thank the ladies at the Onslow crop on Saturday for making me feel welcome, and thank you Jackie for inviting me and the shop - I had such a good day. Plus 2 layouts finished, wow - that must be a record for me! I'm only sorry that a lot of the goodies I had on order from American Crafts and Cosmo Cricket hadn't arrived ... still, next time :)

Here are some pictures of the day, it was a gorgeous big room, and oohh to have a full table to myself for scrapping was bliss, although I did still manage to spill over onto Jackies table, sorry about that! LOL.

I'll be putting the future crop dates on the site, for anyone wishing to come along, you'll have a lovely day, believe me!

Sneaky Peek time

It's that time again .... sneaky peek time :) Well here is February's kit ... it's not too lovey dovey ... but just enjoy that if you are treated to somewhere nice for valentines you'll love to use it - and also maybe make that special card. Saying that, I've used it for the Design Team and I'm loving the B side just as much.

Kit goes on sale Wednesday 10th February at around about 8pm - and remember the kit is always limited in numbers

Crop Dates

I'm so looking forward to Thursday's crop - it's always so much fun.

The Crop dates for February are, 4th and 18th and as always we'll be in the Culverwell Room, at the The Elmcroft Centre, London Road, North Cheam, SM3 9AB.

If you're around and local, we'd love you to join us. Tea and coffee is provided and the cost is £3.

I'm hoping this time to bring along the cricut and big shot.

New Year .... New Happenings

Firstly .... Happy New Year wishes everyone, here's to 2010 being a fabulous year.

Lots of new and exciting things are planned for Gotta Craft this year, and I do hope you'll enjoy them.

Firstly, in January we'll be having one amazing sale, with some products being reduced up to 75%. This does mean of course that we won't be having a January Monthly Kit. Although saying that, you may well find a "special" little kit coming out this month, so keep reading the blog.

This year we're going to be starting card kits, and something I'm quite excited about, will be our new embellishment kits. These kits are really going to be something special - a "dabble" kit if you wish. Sometimes you may find you don't need a whole pack of brads/gems or journaling cards for example, so here a Gotta Craft we are going to split the packs, so that you'll be able to have a taster of lots of different things to see what you like.

As always, from February we'll be back with our popular monthly kits, and I'll be sending out dates to those on my sneaky peek list nearer the time.

All gone ... but new products have arrived

I can't believe how quickly December's kit sold out, and if you missed it, I'm sorry - although some of the papers are available on their own. But now to the exciting news! I took delivery of Pink Paislee's Cupid collection today ...ooohhhhh it's just so gorgeous. I do love double sided paper, and it's not too in your face pink! Did I really say that LOL.

December's kit now available

I just loved playing with the December kit, I've made a few cards and a couple of layouts which I really do need to upload LOL. But I think my favourite has to be this card cut from the elements sheet.

I have to say this kit has really put me in a creative mood .... heaven help us LOL

December's sneaky peek .....

Is just so gorgeous - I'm loving December's kit. It will be going on sale on Monday 7th, usual time, around 8ish, and I have to say I just love these papers. Sadly the chipboard and stickers that I was going to do as an add on sold out really quickly. Still with the kit, you'll have all you need to create amazing cards and layouts.

Loving BG

Ok, now I'm not normally a fan, but the Eskimo Kisses from BasicGrey is just too gorgeous to resist. I made this quick card earlier today for the person I'm Secret Santa for over at our Cheam Crop - and don't worry it won't give the game away. The card is going in with the present for the 25th.

The papers and the epoxy stickers are just so easy to use - I feel more card making coming on!

I was asked to put together a mystery kit for the Eastbourne retreat, and I really enjoyed doing it, so thank you for that - and I'm looking forward to seeing what you create with it.

What on earth!!

I had one month of being a good girl and updating on a regular basis, and then what happened! ... Well, I've given myself a good talking too and I promise (well, fingers crossed LOL) to do better this month.

So, here it is - it's kit time - and I have to say it was a real pleasure getting these papers for the kit, so bright and funky, and I just love to bits the journal stickers.

Nutmeg has arrived




Just added to the site is the latest collection from Cosmo Cricket, Nutmeg. And oh my word, it's just gorgeous ....... the papers are double sided and the embellishments, well ... you're gonna love them .

Scrummy ... is the word

OOhh I'm loving this months kit - I'm such a fan of Prima at the moment, and the Animal Bash collection is just gorgeous. This month's kit has it all ... the amazing double sided papers, shaped cardstock from Bazzill (which is fabulous), a clear stamp, blooms and gems - what more could a girl ask for.

It's almost over

My goodness where did September go? I can't believe that we're almost at the end of the sale as well. It's been quite a month I must say, firstly the sale has been amazing - it's reminded me of some of the yummy products that the shop has, but on an even more fun note ... lots of new stock has been arriving, I'm loving the Eskimo Kisses, if not just for the name - but it's the Amber Road that I've really got a soft spot for.

Talking of soft spots - a note to myself, my iphone doesn't like hard landings! Not so long ago, I dropped it, and it was one of those, "I don't want to look" moments. True enough the screen had cracked and an expensive trip to the apple store was called for. It's now almost wrapped in a duvet! Still, it was something that had to be scrapped, and the Sassafras papers were just right for the layout - and of course for me, no layout is complete without blooms.

Maybe this is a layout I won't need to hide in the draw like I did a broken phone :)

Perfect Photos for the Perfect Paper


Ok, so I'm more than a little in love with the latest Pink Paislee Papers, Amber Road - but at the crop on Saturday I couldn't help but use them - and talk about the perfect photos for the paper.


I couldn't wait to scrap these photos of Simon and I on a walk through Bourne Hall Park last October, and of course, no layout is complete without flowers,bling and thickers.

Even more new goodies have arrived

OOhhhh I feel like a kid in a sweetie shop - the new Pink Paislee, Amber Road has arrived and to say it's gorgeous, would be an understatement. The colours are just perfect for Autumn, but the paper I'm loving the most is the postcard paper ... it's got a to do list on it! LOL.

IT'S HERE AND IT'S GORGEOUS

Yup, I've finished uploading BasicGrey's Eskimo Kisses collection, and I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it. Now normally I'm not a BG fan, but these papers and embellishments are just stunning - I think the only problem with the papers, is choosing which side to use.

SALE TIME

OOhhhh so exciting, I'm having my first proper sale :) ... yes, I know it's taken a bit of time coming, but now it's here I'm loving it. Actually packing up orders and going back through older papers, is reminding me how much I love some of them. And just to remind you of some of them ... here is a project created, by Pat using the A5 chipboard and Prima Papers

The Secret is out

The August kit is made up of papers from MME and the breaking free collection. Just perfect for those day's out shots and holiday photos. Actually I say that, but I used the papers for this layout of my mum ... and no her smile isn't from too much drink LOL. I just loved this kit, for me double sided papers are just perfect.

August Sneaky Peek

Here it is our August sneaky peek ... ok, I've been a bit sneaky with this kit as it's a collection of different papers, from an overall collection. But I just know you'll love working with these papers - they're perfect for those summer photos.

The kit will be going on sale on Tuesday 11th around 8pm - and this month Pat has been working with it and done some fab layouts.

Well I have to say that Lythan was quick of the mark with this amazing layout from the July kit.... it's gorgeous, wouldn't you agree.

FEBRUARY KIT ... LOOKING GOOD




Hot Mama ... what a name, but then again what a gorgeous collection of papers from Glitz Design. Those, are the papers in the February kit, which is available now and of course, you'll be amazed at the fabulous work Pat and Clare have done with it. Not only that - Clare has found a great downloadable image you can purchase from www.getdigiwithit.com/shoppe (look under the Glitz designs section) and used it on her layout "Hey Girls" - and full details of how they both created these stunning layouts are on the sheet that comes with the kit.

Happy New Year to you all ... can you believe all that rushing around getting ready for Christmas and it's all now over and decorations put away, all but that one, you always find when the boxes are put in the loft .. still, I'm counting down the days till Christmas 09 already!

But before then, I've made my New Years Resoultions and broken some already - but one I'm hoping not to break (too often) is to come on here and keep you up to date with the goings on at Gotta Craft. The first one being our January Kit - which I have to say ... I LOVE! Yes I know, I'm slightly biased - but it's just got the most gorgeous collection of papers in it, and with both Tracey and Claire working on it for the DT gallery, I know you'll be in for a treat. The kit will be on sale in the evening of Friday 16th January, with posting out on Monday 19th. I hope you like it as much as I do.

The December kit is going to be early this month, to help you with any last minute Christmas cards or even to make sure that your family and friends co-ordinate nicely with the papers this Christmas for your layouts. I must admit, putting this kit together was a joy, the papers are just so gorgeous, I know you'll love using them.
